Antal Poland and Cushman &amp; Wakefield prepared the report. The <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Szczecin Metropolitan Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Metropolii Szczeci\u0144skiej sp. z o.o.)<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> acted as the city\u2019s project partner and, together with the report\u2019s authors, invited the <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">IT Cluster <\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0and other representatives of business and local institutions to participate in a discussion on the city\u2019s and region\u2019s development opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">In the report, <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Szczecin achieved an overall score of 6.9\/10<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, confirming its strong position among Polish business centers. Notably, the city was one of only nine Polish cities included in the study \u2014 a clear indication of the development and investment potential recognized by experts. Szczecin <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">was particularly praised<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for its <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">modern infrastructure<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">high quality of life<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, both of which create a solid foundation for attracting investors and top talent to the city.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Participants of the discussion panel included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/micha%C5%82-przepiera-472653303\/\"><strong>Micha\u0142 Przepiera<\/strong><\/a>, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Deputy Mayor of Szczecin for Investments and Entrepreneurship<\/span>,<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/paweltkozlowski\/\"><strong>Pawe\u0142 Koz\u0142owski<\/strong><\/a>, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">President of the IT Cluster,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/dorota-d%C5%BCega-pietruszkiewicz-phd-4b428a265\/\"><strong>Dorota D\u017cega-Pietruszkiewicz<\/strong><\/a>, <span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">representative of the West Pomeranian Business School<\/span>,<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/arturciszczon\/\">Artur Ciszczo\u0144<\/a><\/strong> (<span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Association ON.AI<\/span>),<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/remigiusz-podcaba\/\"><strong>Remigiusz Podcaba<\/strong><\/a> (Nemera),<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/bart%C5%82omiej-st%C4%99pie%C5%84-890209a0\/\"><strong>Bart\u0142omiej St\u0119pie\u0144<\/strong><\/a> (Elektryka Morska).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">During the panel accompanying the report\u2019s premiere, participants focused on <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Szczecin\u2019s key strengths and challenges as an investment location<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. According to the speakers, the city\u2019s undisputed advantages include its <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">strategic geographic position<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">proximity to Scandinavia and Western Europe<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">developed transport infrastructure<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">high quality of life<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. Combined with a <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">rapidly growing ICT sector<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">strong port potential<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, these factors make Szczecin one of the most attractive cities for domestic and international investors. Szczecin also stands out for its <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">collaborative spirit and openness<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, enabling joint efforts to achieve shared goals and foster the city\u2019s development.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The region\u2019s <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">industrial potential<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> continues to grow, especially in <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">the<\/span> <strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">offshore<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">marine <\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">energy<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">renewable energy<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> sectors.<\/span><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> The speakers emphasized the importance of <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">modern industrial clusters<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">expanding infrastructure<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> to support innovative industries, while also noting the continued need for investment in <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">industrial and office spaces<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">The <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">ICT sector<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> and the <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">development of artificial intelligence<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> are significantly enhancing the city\u2019s appeal to investors. <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pawe\u0142 Koz\u0142owski<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, President of the West Pomeranian IT Cluster, highlighted that Szczecin\u2019s IT companies deliver <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">world-class solutions<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">, and the city ranks among <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Poland\u2019s leading innovation hubs<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">. The cluster \u2014 one of the largest organizations of its kind in the country \u2014 actively supports collaboration between business, academia, and local government, helping to build a <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">cohesive technological ecosystem<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> for the West Pomeranian region.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Collaboration between universities, businesses, and local government<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> plays a key role in developing human capital. Universities educate specialists and support the transfer of knowledge to industrial and technological sectors, increasing the region\u2019s competitiveness and attracting young talent. The city and businesses must work together to <\/span><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">retain this talent<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> by offering attractive working conditions, professional growth opportunities, and a high quality of life.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Urban and logistics infrastructure<\/span><\/strong><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> remain among Szczecin\u2019s main challenges.
