We organized the event together with the West Pomeranian Future Industry Council, acting on behalf of the Future Industry Platform.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Council, as well as representatives of production companies and representatives of the new technologies industry (member companies of the IT Cluster).

Despite the holiday period, the meeting was very popular.

We met to learn about mutual needs and opportunities for cooperation in the new technologies – industry. We met some exciting production companies from the region of West Pomerania, and our cluster IT companies talked about their experiences and solutions for the industry.

Magdalena Ławicka, Phd opened the meeting on behalf of the IT Cluster, and Joanna Pyżanowska on behalf of the West Pomeranian Future Industry Council.

After introducing all the participants in the meeting, Robert Bodendorf , Chairman of the West Pomeranian Future Industry Council, presented the tools for entrepreneurs that the Future Industry Platform prepared.

During the meeting, Magdalena Ławicka, Phd presented the activities and the offer of our IT Cluster, which includes many companies offering solutions for the industry.

Then, three companies associated in our cluster presented their solutions addressed to the industry. Krzysztof Kobus and Damian Parol from the Glass-Link company, explained a solution enabling long-range wireless communication in the future industry. They also showed the results of the pilot implementation of the solution at the Baltic Container Terminal in the Port of Gdynia, pointing to the vast possibilities of use and many benefits for industrial facilities. This system can be used in various industries, wherever there is a need for long-range communication, it enables real-time signal transmission, allowing reading of devices and vehicles as well as remote monitoring.

We also learned the solutions regarding “Automation of processes and teamwork”, which Grzegorz Dembicki and Adam Sienkiewicz from Sagra Technology discussed as part of the presentation. The system developed by their experts automates the work of sales teams, production halls and audit teams. We also got to know the mobile application created by Sagra for the digitization of tasks and processes called  TRYBIQ, intended for service technicians and auditors.

Later in the meeting, Andrzej Żmidziński and Leszek Muskała, representing the Rekord Pomorze, company, which offers support systems for administration and production, talked about “Production management in the Rekord.ERP system”. They support building structures and processes. In its scope, the company offers, among others: an employee portal, thanks to which you can handle staff, accounting or systematize the circulation of documents.

A discussion part of the meeting followed the presentations. Participants were divided into groups and took part in conversations. The talks focused on the possibility of cooperation between representatives of scientific fields and various industrial sectors, using modern technologies. There were voices that there is a need in the region to organize such meetings as today, so that each side could learn about the possibilities and conditions of the other. Other important projects offered to entrepreneurs of the Future Industry Platform were also discussed, such as the Leader’s School or the Future Factory.

The event was held in a hybrid formula. Almost 45 people attended the meeting, most of them stationary.
We want to thank all participants for this inspiring meeting and invite you to the subsequent events!
