Knowledge and education

Membership in the Cluster gives you the possibility for the development of competences needed in the IT industry through:

• participation in business events organized or co-organized by the IT Cluster. We usually co-organize the largest IT events in the region. As the IT Cluster, we closely cooperate with business environment institutions and as a result we co-organize or we are a partner of many events important for the development of the IT sector in the region. We ask our members about the areas and topics which are interesting for them and we pass the information to the external organizations;

• being informed about IT events and activities which are going to be undertaken in the West Pomerania region. The IT Cluster very often receives inquiries from the organizers of IT events regarding the recommendation of experts - this allows our companies to build the image of their expertise, as well as expand business contacts; each of our member companies receives information via a newsletter which is sent weekly or by direct mailing or telephone contact;

• acquiring a special offer (a guaranteed entry or preferential ticket price) for the industry events which are organized in the region;

• cooperation with educational institutions - we care about improving the quality of education and developing the competences in reference to the needs of current and future IT staff. We invite trainers to cooperate with when organizing IT events. At the same time, we examine what competencies our IT companies expect from graduates of the educational institutions in the region;

• the possibility of organizing an educational event (a training or a workshop) by our members with the support of the IT Cluster. Each of our member companies has the opportunity to organize a training / a workshop once a year for other members and external companies, with the full support of the Cluster (i.e. conference room rental, catering, promoting activity of the workshop and registering participants);
