IT PICNIC 2.0, a team-building event for the Szczecin IT industry, took place on Friday, May 17.
Once again, we met in the green space of INKU Creative Industries Incubator in Szczecin.

We are extremely grateful that we could spend this special day in such a large group.
We gathered more than 160 participants – technology enthusiasts, IT professionals, students and everyone who decided to join us. Your presence made the event full of inspiration and fantastic energy!

Our cluster IT companies participated in the event, presenting profiles of their businesses. Participants had the opportunity to network with key representatives of local technology companies and IT departments of universities in our city. Discussions focused on the latest trends in IT, opportunities for cooperation and career prospects in the industry.
Participants participated in our industry competition and networking tasks to get acquainted and integrate.

We want to thank our cluster companies that became partners of the event, and heavily involved in our initiative:

Partners of the event included:

We would like to thank the WiWav Student Scientific Circle for supporting our initiative and organizing a contest for the participants of the meeting.

The event featured a demonstration of retro-gaming culture by the “Dawcy Pikseli” group. They introduced the participants to the world of retro-gaming, demonstrating the operation of old 8- and 16-bit computers and consoles. It was a trip back in time for many participants, especially younger ones who had no previous exposure to such technology.

Other attractions at the picnic included exercises with BlazePod and a contest from Strefa.Racing. Innovative exercises with the BlazePod system encouraged physical activity and fitness, while the competition organized by Strefa.Racing attracted automotive and racing simulator enthusiasts.

For their participation, we also thank:

– Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications from the Maritime University of Technology,
– Electroautomatics Scientific Circle (KNEA) from the Maritime University of Technology (Faculty of Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering).

We would like to thank all the participants for this wonderful time😊.
We are looking forward to more opportunities to meet with you. See you soon!
