Our Customer that provides end-to-end cash management solutions and cash services is looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer with test analysis experience.

As an IT Test  Automation Engineer you will be required to work with the IT Applications Test Team to assist with the preparation of test plans and the testing of software in line with company guidelines and standards. Testing will include validation, integration, system and performance testing of software in a Windows environment. You will have to provide support for the planning and execution of test activities, working within the agreed IT processes, in order to ensure robust and high quality solutions to the end-user community.

Main responsibilities:

• Work with an Agile environment as part of a collaborative team to ensure Sprint goals are achieved
• Produce test artefacts for functional, non-functional, integration and performance testing of software components
• Provide time and effort estimates for testing activities during a sprint
• Utilizes testing knowledge and experience to assess, advise and implement the best test approach for a particular set of acceptance criteria
• Carry out validation, integration, system and performance testing of software, where required, for both functional and non-functional requirements
• Identifies opportunities for test automation, works in conjunction with other TA’s to bring test automation into the process

Must have:

• Strong experience of Agile Testing Methodologies with the ability to deliver robust testing solutions within Sprints
• Good automation knowledge with the ability to look to automate UI, Database and API testing, via various tool sets
• Experience with Selenium and C#
• API testing using tools such as SoapUI / PostMan
• UI testing experience
• Test automation experience
• ISTQB qualified to Foundation level

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and experience of Visual Studio, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, Azure DevOps,
• An Understanding of object models and workflow, configuration management tools, and .NET development environments would be a plus.
•  A desire through training and/or experience to be an integral part of an newly formed automated Test framework team
• Experience with creating test data to test data flows
