On September 26, there was a matchmaking meeting between IT companies and participants of our testing course (which we wrote about here).
The entire project was dedicated to people who want to work in the IT industry. The initiative was organized together with Powiatowy Urzędu Pracy.
Software Development Academy provided the course. Additionally, the project partners were: Consileon Polska , Kongsberg Maritime, Mobica, Raynet Polska
and Spyrosoft Synergy. The course participants (16 people) passed the internal exam, and most of them have already passed the official
exam along with the ISTQB certificate. The entire testing course lasted 150 hours.
In addition to the course participants, our Cluster members attended our meeting, including: Kongsberg Maritime, Global Logic Poland and Icotera..
We also hosted a representative of Powiatowy Urzędu Pracy, Software Development Academy and Banku Pekao S.A.
During the event, we got to know our course participants better. Representatives of our cluster companies presented sample job positions
and told us what interesting projects their companies are implementing. The meeting ended with networking, during which there were exciting
conversations about the current employment standards in the IT industry.
We hope that the diversity of professional experience of the course participants, combined with their acquired testing knowledge, will be a precious
mix for many companies.
