Last Thursday, together with Technopark Pomerania, we organized another Cluster Breakfast.
The central theme of the meeting was the role of modern technologies in the education and upbringing of children, as well as upcoming funding opportunities for companies in the IT sector. Attendance was excellent—we even had to bring in extra chairs for the room 🙂
In the first part of the meeting, Dorota Dżega-Pietruszkiewicz– Vice-Rector for Development at the West Pomeranian Business School – addressed the challenges faced by modern parents and educators. The discussion around “Parents 2.0” highlighted the importance of consciously supporting children in the digital world and building their social skills in a reality dominated by algorithms and personalization.
The second part of the meeting focused on the future of the IT industry from the perspective of funding and tools that support business development.
We hosted Andrzej Przewoda (ZARR S.A.), who spoke about funding opportunities for development services available to companies in our region. It provides strategic support for West Pomeranian businesses looking to invest in their employees’ skills, offering attractive subsidies (70–80%) and comprehensive implementation support, from planning to settlement. You can find ZARR’s presentation on available support options HERE >>
Next, representatives of the Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego – Ewa Iwaszkiewicz-Piróg and Sebastian Skrzypek – presented a financial instrument supporting digital transformation in companies. Participants learned about the conditions for receiving a preferential loan, examples of eligible projects, and the application process through financial institutions. They shared specific funding sources and programs launching as early as September. You can find the presentation from their talk HERE >>
Thank you to all participants for your engagement, questions, and conversations. The next IT Cluster meeting will take place in September – see you after the holidays!
