Our Customer that provides end-to-end cash management solutions and cash services is looking to experienced Test Leader to join their team.

As a Project Test Lead you will be responsible for the oversight and deliverables of project test team, testing software components in line with company guidelines and standards. Testing will include validation, integration, system and performance testing of software in a Windows environment. You will have to provide support for the planning and execution of test activities, working within the agreed IT processes, in order to ensure robust and high quality solutions to the end-user community.

Main Responsibilities:

• Manage the project test team and ensure they are fully utilized and achieving project goals
• Ensure the test team are adhering to testing processes and standards
• Lead the SIT, UAT and Live Proving test phases
• Produce regular test progress reports and test closure reports
• Create project test strategies
• Produce test artefacts for functional, non-functional, integration and performance testing of software components
• Estimate testing to be done within the project
• Peer review of test cases/scripts
• Identify blockers and risks
• Utilises testing knowledge and experience to assess, advise and implement the best test approach for a particular set of acceptance criteria
• Identifies opportunities for test automation, works in conjunction with other TA’s to bring test automation into the process

Must have:

• Previous hands-on experience as a tester
• Strong experience of Agile Testing Methodologies
• Experience writing test scripts
• Experience with SQL/Postman
• Experience with scrutinizing data and generating test data
• Good automation knowledge with the ability to look to automate UI, Database and API testing, via various tool sets
• Strong technical background

Nice to have:

• Knowledge and experience of Visual Studio, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr, Azure DevOps,
• An Understanding of object models and workflow, configuration management tools, and .NET development environments would be a plus.
• Experience with creating test data to test data flows
