Where Do You Fit?
Nestled in our Automation and Control division, you’ll be on the wheel, steering product and tech innovations, and overseeing projects for Kongsberg Maritime’s state-of-the-art Automation, Bridge Systems, and Electro solutions. Collaborate closely with our Project Managers to guarantee smooth sailing on all projects. Your insights will be vital, especially in the early stages. Deliver impeccable artifacts touching on requirements, design, and testing.
As a System Architect you are involved in many of the project phases, and especially early phases. Typical deliveries from the Systems Architects are artifacts related to requirements, design and test.
Important note:
We require relocation to Szczecin! The fully remote work type isn’t possible.
⚓Key accountabilities:
- A key resource in defining and creating the systems architecture for future solutions in Kongsberg Maritime.
- Establish a technical vision together with the Architect team, guiding the systems development. This involves you in keeping up with the current technological trends and innovations .
- Contributing to turning new Kongsberg Maritime products into reality through designing systems, integration, and solutions while ensuring that the future needs and requirements of the Stakeholders are met.
- Contributing to the development of the Systems Engineering discipline by providing thought leadership to the team around innovative approaches, workflows, and technologies.
- Responsible for the Systems Engineering Process fulfilment within the project and product you work with.
- Collaborate with teams of architects, developers, product owners and managers, while sharing and exploiting knowledge in cross-functional and globally distributed multi-disciplinary departments and projects.
⚓Qualifications and experience:
- Experience from different technological domains and have practiced systems integration, concept development, systems architecture and/or Systems Engineering in product development for several years.
- Good knowledge in use of modeling languages like SysML /UML and Systems architecture frameworks
- Good Communications and Collaboration skills
