As a Test Engineer you will be part of the worldwide test community of Automation & Control in Kongsberg Maritime whose goal is to develop new and innovative ways of testing to make sure our highly complex systems are World Class!
The perfect candidates are technology enthusiasts with a genuine interest for solving complex challenges and with a passion for designing innovative solutions that solve complex problems.
Both newly graduates and experienced engineers with the right background will be considered if you have a genuine interest for technology and testing.
Important note:
We require relocation to Szczecin! The fully remote work type isn’t possible.
⚓Key accountabilities:
- Explore, learn, and analyze the system to create innovative tests
- Contribute to define and implement the test strategy
- Execute tests, automated, manual and exploratory
- Design, build and maintain test environments
- Automate testing by creating/improving the test systems and scripting tests
- Strive for continuous improvements
⚓Qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor or master level in computer science, cybernetics, or similar
- Experience and/or interest with software development and testing in particular
- Experience with programming, specifically Python is an advantage
- High technical understanding and ability to learn fast
- Ability to understand and tackle large and complex systems
- Knowledge or experience with maritime systems is a plus
- ISTQB certification is an advantage
- Very good verbal and written English
